We’ve all seen paper banks and most of us will have used them at least once. They’re mostly located in supermarket car parks, community centres and larger schools.
The familiar paper bank with its letterbox access slots along both sides is a distinctive green colour – with its equally familiar counterpart for cardboard recycling usually appearing in red.
Widely used in community recycling schemes, these bins provide a useful income contribution to villages and local fundraising charities with the help and co-operation of the Local Authority.
The bins usually have a capacity of approximately 13 cubic feet, an ideal size for its purpose. Each paper bank has dimensions of 1.5m x 4m x 2m approx.
