The Challenge

The garden centre contacted Parry & Evans as they were unhappy with the prices that they were being charged for their general waste collections.

Our Approach

We were able to put together a solution for garden centre staff to separate card and plastic from the general waste. We provided a 35-yard open skip for the card and plastic – this reduced the general waste collection from 3 collections every two weeks to one a month. The customer was delighted to have a card and plastic recycling skip on site as it demonstrated to customers that they were focused on recycling.
